The new shuttle service in the Paulusviertel and Halle-Ost

Since December 11, 2023, the on-demand* shuttles (movemix_shuttle) are in service as minibuses in two service areas, the Paulusviertel and Halle-Ost. In Halle-Ost, an improved mobility service thus operates from 9 p.m. instead of busline 27. A further sub-project was launched as part of the STADTLand+ model project.

movemix_shuttle can accommodate single person or groups of people, whether commuters, senior citizens, parents with small children or an entire family. Child seats for different age groups are available in the vehicle. Pushchairs, wheelchairs and small items of luggage can be taken along. Anyone who needs help getting in and out of the vehicle will of course receive assistance.

And here's how it works:
  1. You have the option of booking your movemix_shuttle quickly and easily via the movemix_app. The movemix_app can be downloaded here:

  2. Create your user account. You can initiate this by registration in the movemix_app. You can find out more in the FAQ (frequently asked questions) at: www.move-mix.de/faq (in German)

If no smartphone is available, the shuttle service can also be booked via the telephone hotline (0345) 5 81 - 56 66. 

When can I book my movemix_shuttle?

Advance booking is possible for journeys immediately or within the next 24 hours before departure.

  • In the Paulusviertel: daily from 5 am to 12 midnight
  • In Halle-Ost: Sundays to Thursdays from 9 pm to 1 am
  • Fridays, Saturdays and even between 9 pm and 4 am on the nights before public holidays

Where are the virtual stops for the movemix_shuttle?

* On-demand services are flexible and are now being integrated into the public transport system. The latest form of service is on-demand shuttles, which can be booked via an app. They combine traditional public transport with a new, completely flexible service that is not tied to a timetable or route.
