Weekly pass apprentice (Wochenkarte Azubi)

• Valid for any number of journeys with unlimited changes 24 hours each day in the selected fare zones of Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV)
• Valid for seven days until 4.00 a.m. of the eighth calendar day
• Non-transferable: as evidence of entitlement it is always necessary to carry a valid and fully filled-in customer card or pupil’s identity card with photo as well as an identity card number that is transferable to the ticket.

Monthly pass apprentice (Monatskarte Azubi)

• Valid for any number of journeys with unlimited changes 24 hours each day in the selected fare zones of Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV)
• Valid from the date printed on the ticket until 4.00 a.m. of the same calendar day in the following month.
• Non-transferable: as evidence of entitlement it is always necessary to carry a valid and fully filled-in customer card or pupil’s identity card with photo as well as an identity card number that is transferable to the ticket.

ABO apprentice subscription (ABO Azubi)

• Valid for any number of journeys with unlimited changes 24 hours each day in the selected fare zones of Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV)
• The start date of the subscription period can be freely selected.
• The monthly subscription fee will be debited from the bank account in 12 monthly instalments or once a year with a 2,5 % discount.
• Non-transferable: as evidence of entitlement it is always necessary to carry a valid and fully filled-in customer card or pupil’s identity card with photo.

ABO apprentice plus subscription (ABO Azubi Plus)

• If the apprentice/trainee travels different distances to the vocational training school and the training company only the distance with the larger number of fare zones counts.
• The precondition for the training year in question is proof from the educational establishment (school) and the training company in the form of a customer card.
• Valid for any number of journeys with unlimited changes 24 hours each day in the selected fare zones of Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV)
• In addition, card holders can travel across the entire MDV network Mondays to Fridays from 2.00 p.m. until 4.00 a.m. of the following day and throughout the whole day at weekends and on public holidays.
• The start date of the subscription can be freely selected.
• The monthly subscription fee will be debited from the bank account in 12 monthly instalments or once a year with a 2,5 % discount.
• Non-transferable: as evidence of entitlement it is always necessary to carry a valid and fully filled-in customer card or pupil’s identity card with photo.

Apprentice Ticket Saxony (Azubi-Ticket Sachsen)

• The location of the vocational college is relevant for the area in which the ticket is valid. Therefore the state saxony gives a list on www.deine-jugendtickets.de 
• Adjacent areas can be purchased for the price of €5.00 per area
• Valid for any journeys across the entire MDV Network 
• Only available as subscription with minimum contract period of 12 months
• Subscription can be started by the first of every month 
• not transferable: valid subscribers card and completely filled pupil’s identification card required

Full semester ticket for students

• Is issued to a specific person and is non-transferable.
• Valid on all buses, trams, urban railways and local trains operated within Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV)
• Is valid for an entire semester in connection with a valid student identity card issued by the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle (BURG) or the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Merseburg (HSM))
• Entitled students may be accompanied free of charge by their own children up to the age of 14 in fare zone 210 (Halle) and 233 (Merseburg)
• In the university city of Halle you can transport a bicycle free of charge every day between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. of the following day and throughout the whole day at weekends and on public holidays.
• MDV is subject to the regulations concerning the transport of bicycles as set out in the Terms and Conditions of Transport and fare Provisions of the Transport Companies of MDV (Beförderungsbedingungen und Tarifbestimmungen der Verkehrsunternehmen des MDV).
